Week 6: Thinking and Intelligence

Week Six...

I teach a course called Theory of Knowledge. Its sole purpose is to break down what knowledge really mean. Is it only facts? Skills? The ability to answer correctly on standardized tests? This week it is important for you to consider what you believe and what the research says. And most important? Why is it important to consider these areas?

As we move on and build our psychology banks, we turn to thinking, intelligence, and memory. One question I want you all to be able to answer is simple: What is knowledge? Consider what you will learn about intelligence and assessment of intelligence. In turn, how do we break down and consider what we know? And last, what role does memory play in our ability to know?

Embrace these topics to dig and apply to your own amazing selves! There are no quizzes for the week, but the assessment is a paper in which you address how you define each of the topics in this week. Please use this writing piece to consider, delve, and apply to you.
