Week 4: Sensation and Perception

Week three...

This week we delve into the fascinating areas of Sensation and Perception (Chapter 5). It is a fascinating chapter and to begin, please watch these videos on Synesthesia:

With sensation and perception, we learn how our brain takes in information and processes what is being brought into it. 

 

Directions for Textbook:

1. Read quickly each section of the chapters One and Two. This will give you an overview of the topics and a general sense of psychology overall. 
2. Please reread Chapter Two and take notes over the research methods. This information is foundational for the rest of the course.

3. Using the knowledge you have gained with the reading, the week's project will ask you to apply your knowledge gained. 
   1. Please note that not all chapters/weeks will have a project.
   2. Please know that this information will be scaffolded throughout the course.
