Trouble Finding your Canvas Course?

If you have been registered for the course more than 24 hours, and can NOT find the course in Canvas, please do the following...

On a computer, log in to Canvas, click Courses, scroll down and click the “All Courses” link. On the new page, click the star next to the course title you want to appear in your shortlist.
On a phone, click the gear icon in the top right corner, and click on the star for the classes you want to show up in your favorites list.

MC Student Email Accounts

All MC students have an MC Email Account

Student email accounts are created after your application is processed. For details, visit www.midland.edu/email. This page provides the formula for determining your username and password and a link to the page.

Check your MC email account Every Day!

Student Services communicates with students about registration, financial aid, important deadlines, etc. through email. Also, if you submit a help ticket through Canvas, responses are sent to your MC email account. Check it often!

TIP: Download the Gmail app to your smartphone to receive notifications and stay informed.

Did you know Canvas only supports the two most recent releases of any browser?

When using an out-of-date browser, users might experience problems with the user interface, submitting quizzes and assignments. To learn more about browser compatibility, click Modules on the left, and open the page, "Browser Compatibility - READ THIS."

Did you know Canvas sends notifications to your MC student email account about assignment due date changes, class announcements, and conversations?

Other notification channels can be set-up as well. Receive notifications to your personal email accounts or even texts on your phone. Go to Modules and check on the page, "Update Your Notification Preferences."
